秋风送爽，月圆人聚。近日，高贵林历史博物馆举办了一场温馨而充满传统文化气息的中秋庆祝活动，吸引了众多社区居民前来参加。精彩的中华舞狮、丰富多彩的文艺演出、美味的月饼以及趣味十足的传统游戏，让大家在欢乐的氛围中共同感受中秋佳节的团圆与温暖。
活动现场洋溢着浓浓的节日气氛。中华舞狮表演活力十足，随着锣鼓声响起，舞狮穿梭在人群中，为节日增添了喜庆祥和的气氛。精彩的文艺演出也为观众带来了一场文化盛宴，大家在音乐、舞蹈等节目中感受不同文化艺术的魅力。
除了精彩的舞台表演，现场还准备了月饼等传统节日美食。大家一边品尝月饼，一边聊天交流，在轻松愉快的氛围中享受这份难得的社区团聚时光。
三联华人联合会（TCCS）也积极参与了此次活动，并特别设置了传统中华游戏——投壶。
投壶是中国传统礼仪文化中的一项趣味活动，如今也成为连接不同年龄、不同文化背景人群的一种有趣方式。活动现场，TCCS的投壶游戏吸引了许多居民参与，尤其受到孩子们和家庭的欢迎。大家纷纷跃跃欲试，在一次次投掷中体验传统游戏的乐趣，现场笑声不断、气氛热烈。
通过投壶这一简单而有趣的传统游戏，TCCS也希望让更多社区居民，特别是年轻一代，能够接触和了解中华传统文化，在轻松互动中感受中国文化的魅力。

中秋节不仅是中华民族重要的传统节日，也是一个象征团圆、分享与祝福的节日。如今，在多元文化的加拿大，不同文化背景的社区居民因为这样的活动相聚在一起，共同分享美食、艺术和欢乐，更让传统节日有了新的意义。

As autumn arrives and the full moon brings people together, the Coquitlam Heritage Society recently hosted a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival celebration filled with culture, friendship, and community spirit.
The event brought together community members of all ages to enjoy a lively Chinese lion dance, a variety of cultural performances, delicious mooncakes, and fun traditional games. The festive atmosphere created a wonderful opportunity for everyone to experience the warmth and joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The Chinese lion dance was one of the highlights of the celebration. Accompanied by the energetic sounds of drums and gongs, the lions brought excitement and festive energy to the event. Guests also enjoyed a variety of music, dance, and cultural performances, creating a vibrant afternoon of entertainment and cultural sharing.
Of course, no Mid-Autumn celebration would be complete without mooncakes. Community members enjoyed sharing this traditional treat while spending time together, chatting and celebrating the holiday.
Tri-City Chinese Community Society (TCCS) was also delighted to take part in the celebration and brought a traditional Chinese game, Pitch-Pot (投壶), to the community.

Pitch-Pot is a traditional Chinese game with a long history. Simple, fun, and suitable for people of different ages, it quickly became one of the most popular activities at the event.
Children, families, and adults eagerly took turns trying their skills at Pitch-Pot. Laughter and cheers could be heard throughout the activity area as participants challenged themselves and enjoyed this unique traditional game.
Through activities like Pitch-Pot, TCCS hopes to introduce more members of the community—especially younger generations—to Chinese traditions and culture in a fun and welcoming way.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an important traditional Chinese celebration, but also a time to share, connect, and celebrate together. In Canada’s diverse communities, events like this provide a wonderful opportunity for people from different cultural backgrounds to come together, enjoy one another’s traditions, and build stronger community connections.
TCCS sincerely thanks the Coquitlam Heritage Society for organizing such a warm and meaningful celebration, and extends our appreciation to all the staff, volunteers, performers, and community members who helped make the event so special.
